Online classes are a trend that tend to be sweeping the nation. With the ease of technology, online classes are an easy alternative. Teachers are able to have a classroom of double the students, while students can work at their own pace. Although many seem to enjoy online classes, I for one do not have the mind set for them

For myself, I need a classroom setting with a teacher lecturing. I do not learn simply from practice problems given by a video of a teacher where questions cannot be asked as they’re needed. I also do not learn by not being able to know what questions I got wrong on a quiz taken through these classes. If the question is missed once, it would be nice to know what was done wrong in order to learn from it and get it right the next time.

Online classes also seem to be an easier route. On the tests, one is allowed to use their notes. There is not much information being retained for the student. If the student watches the video and simply jots down some notes they have a great chance of receiving a one hundred percent on the test without truly learning.

Although technology is implemented largely in everyday life, school classes are the place that I feel teachers should be the main use. Teachers should be the one to lecture, answer questions, and grade tests.
