Teacher’s Funniest Part of the Job
Being a teacher is a job that not only benefits those who are being taught, but also a job that benefits the teachers by giving them a good laugh every now and then.
“I think the funniest part of my job honestly is the relationship that I build with students. I truly enjoy being around them and understanding their personalities and developing a relationship where we can joke around.” Health teacher Lance Moore said.
Everyone has a friend who always manages to be funny in every situation. It is a combination character traits and amusing yet strangely thought provoking conversation that adds a certain flair and hilarity to teaching.
“The funniest part of my job is hearing the responses the kids give. The entertainment factor of the different personalities in the classroom is always interesting. Every year, from class to class, the dynamics based on stories that I tell are fascinating to me.” Science teacher Misty Black said.
A lot of the teachers at North agree that having a variety of personas add to the best part of the job.
“The funniest part for me has to be the kids. You hear all sorts of silly stuff, especially because high school is one of the most awkward times for everyone. I remember how awkward I was in high school. It’s just funny to think about when my students are my age, how they’ll look back and laugh at how silly and goofy they were all the time.” Science teacher Spencer Fish said.
