Scholar Bowl

  Many people are familiar with the concept of Scholar Bowl through movies like Spiderman: Homecoming. But what they may not know is that Liberty North has its own scholar bowl team.

  “[Scholar Bowl] is based around answering trivia questions, kind of like Jeopardy. We have a lot of competitions and we practice weekly,” sophomore Rachel Adger said.

  Scholar Bowl is a great club for people who like answering trivia questions, know a lot of information about certain subjects, or just want to learn more about the world.

  “I joined because I like learning a lot of new information and trivia, and I felt like I could do well,” Adger said.

  Scholar Bowl takes place every Tuesday in room 317 and is hosted by Ms. Coogan and Dr. Camp. So if you are interested, stop by to find out more.

  “It’s special because it’s not as rigorous and time-consuming as many of the sports, but you are still motivated. Also, you meet a lot of great people, allowing you to learn, not only about trivia but about each other as well,” Adger said.
