Sweater weather, pumpkin treats, changing leaves, and pumpkin patches. These are some fall staples that many people want to experience this season, and Fun Farm pumpkin patch can help check some off the list. Fun Farm is known for many popular attractions, and during their Fall Festival, has over 30 of them.
“Lots of people get the pumpkin donuts, apple cider donuts, and many of our other food options as well,” junior Avery Johnson said.
Some of Fun Farm’s most popular attractions are their giant corn pit, petting zoo, giant slide, homemade arcade games, apple cannons, live music, photo-op spots, and many peoples’ all-time favorite treats. Along with the Fall Festival, they also have their yearly Tulip Festival, KC Berry Festival, and Ciderfest.
“I would recommend Fun Farm to others because they have a good variety of things that you can do. It’s a great place to spend quality time with family and friends,” freshman Lillie London said.
Fun Farm has quite a few teenage employees, and some that work there are also students at North. Several already have plenty of responsibilities, but for most, they don’t view working as an added stress.
“I get to schedule my hours myself, so it helps a lot with sports. Especially since I already don’t have a lot of free time,” sophomore Delaney Carlson said.
Many people think that Fun Farm is only for kids, but they have many things that cater to people of all ages.
“It truly is a place where everyone can have fun, whatever that may look like for them,” senior Ian
Tomney said.
