Election day is coming up and Presidents are starting to campaign. People all over the world are stating their opinions on social media and are making it known who they want to win election.

   “It’s so annoying going on Twitter and seeing people fight over politics,” junior Grace Leeth said.

   Donald Trump is the talk on the Republican side. Trump is a businessman who is trying to become President in 2016. He owned the show Celebrity Apprentice for 14 seasons. His main slogan through the show was, ”Make America great again.” Trump is self funding his campaign because he has a network worth 10 billion. Trump is at the top of the polls for Republican.

   “He seems like a great leader and would lead our country well. Him becoming president wouldn’t be a bad thing,” junior Mia Pirrello said.

   Hillary Clinton is running for the Democrat side. Hillary was married to Bill Clinton who was president before George Bush. She could be the first woman president who was married to a president. Clinton states that she wants to raise the taxes, and give more to government assistance. Clinton is in the lead for the Democrat, but Bernie Sanders is catching up to her.

   “I hope Hillary Clinton doesn’t win. She is full blown Liberal Democrat and not trustworthy. She is not qualified to be president,” Leeth said.

   The people in America have a big decision to make. The primary for each party will be chosen next year. Then they will select each party’s candidate at each of their conventions next summer.   

   “I’ve heard bad things about Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. They are just drama.” sophomore Ava Dumit said.
