Drowning vs. Floating
The routine of study sessions, cramming, and messy planners are back. School is in session. Is Liberty north’s students, sinking or staying afloat in their course load?
Seniors know the drill of the laidback freshman year and the picked up pace of sophomore year and the struggles that happen junior year. What do the big dogs think about their big role and big last year?
“I think junior year was busier than this year. I feel like I had a heavy workload last year because I took college and AP classes AND had a full schedule. This year I’m taking college and AP classes but I am doing EIP and have work release which helps break the day up some. So far senior year has been relaxed and not stressful.” Senior Holly Hawkins said.
As a few weeks of school has already come upon LN’s classes, did they hit these students in waves or ripples?
“I would probably say I’m closer to drowning in my school work.” Junior Delaney Benson said
School is chaos, crowded halls, heavy work, and classes. People seem to have school either on their mind and top priority, or they minimize it completely.
“I don’t really get that stressed about school because I just see it as something temporary. Like yes, school is important, but I do not stress over two bad grades because school isn’t everything” Junior Jack Crisman said.
The aftermath of the waves that hit during the school year have been hard and easy to some of the kids here at North.
“I’d say it’s in between easy and hard for me because I’m very busy with sports and stuff outside school and it’s hard to find the time to study and do homework” Sophomore Isaiah Stenner said
