On Friday, April 11, the championship rounds of Thursday’s Liberty North Dodgeball tournaments, hosted by STUCO, were held during Eagle Hour A. The final four teams faced off in two rounds: Average Joes vs. The Dodgefathers, and Team Runge vs. Breaking Hearts Since 1998. The two winners, The Dodgefathers and Breaking Hearts Since 1998, then faced off in the final championship round. The Dodgefathers prevailed.
“It feels very fulfilling; all this work we put it, and it all came through; it was a great opportunity that STUCO provided for us, and I’m really grateful,” junior Marshall Williams said.
The prizes: over $300 worth in tickets, North gear, and coupons. This is one event that STUCO and the winning team can chalk up to a great success.
“I think STUCO had a great idea. 90 students were involved; that’s almost one-tenth of the student body in one activity. That’s awesome. Totally worth it. Props to STUCO,” social studies teacher Mr. Mayne said.
