To say that I called it from the beginning is an understatement. I freaking called it. My favorite four made it to the hometown dates with Ben. In order of my favorite to least: Caila, JoJo, Lauren, and Amanda.

The first hometown was in California with Amanda. Ben got the chance to meet her kids and see what their future would look like as a family. The family was a little concerned about him being ready to be a dad, but once they had a nice chat they trusted him enough and gave their blessing. Amanda was thrilled and she finally could say she loved him after him meeting her kids and family. Although, she did not actually express her feelings to Ben.

The second hometown was in California with Lauren. Obviously these two have had a connection from the beginning, and Lauren knew she was in love with him, but wanted to make sure everything worked out when Ben met the family. Lauren’s sister was on edge because she was afraid of her sister getting hurt, but once she talked to Ben and he started crying she felt better about the relationship. Everyone else loved Ben just as much as Lauren does. She could confidently say she loved him, but yet another girl did not express her feelings to Ben.

The third hometown was in Ohio with Caila. Not only are these two adorable together, but I believe 100% they are perfect for each other. Caila’s date was really enjoyable to watch because he family was very outgoing and happy. They shared their thoughts on marriage and the ethnic backgrounds, and overall really enjoyed Ben’s company. Caila found out that she was in love with him more than she thought. She shared a heart to heart with her mom and dad about her feelings and expressed how she believes without a doubt he is the one for her. Ben even expressed that he was hoping Caila would tell him if she loved him or not. Because of their previous conversations about her not feeling like she could love someone. Caila had made up her mind that she was going to tell Ben she loved him, but chickened out and didn’t.

The fourth hometown was in Dallas with JoJo. The date started of really rough when JoJo received a letter and roses from her ex, plus she thought they were from Ben. She ended up calling her ex and told him she was done with him, and by that time Ben had showed up and she was crying. So they had a tough conversation and at the end of it they felt that it helped them grow as a couple. You thought that was a rough start to the date though, you have no idea! JoJo’s parents were fine with Ben. but JoJo’s brothers on the other hand were not to pleased. They were super protective of JoJo and they told her to be guarded, even though she is trying not to be. Then they called Ben out for brain washing the girls, being fake, not really liking JoJo, etc. They basically steam rolled him the whole night while JoJo was gone, and it left him a little uneasy.

Ben ended up sending Amanda home. Which I thought would happen because they never had that strong of a relationship, and I don’t think he could see himself as a part of her family. I say the next to go is JoJo. I hope it is Lauren because she is not that pretty, but she without a doubt is going to the top two. Caila is my favorite and I am hoping that because they don’t show too much about how Ben feels about her that he will hopefully pick her in the end. Then JoJo can be the next bachelorette.
