During the week of November 16 through November 19, there was a journalism conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Liberty North’s Yearbook, the Ayrie, took second place for Best in Show.
The 2010-2011 yearbook won the first yearbook prize in Liberty North history. The book was considered a “calendar book”. This type of yearbook starts from day one in the school year.
“We were all really surprised we won. I was the only returning staff member. From day one, it was a difficult process to start our yearbook,” Editor Senior Brennan Canuteson said.
