Valentines Day is fast approaching, and this year, Eagle Cheer is spreading the love to the student body. The cheerleaders have set up camp during Eagle Hour in two locations around the cafeteria decorated for the holiday.
To spread the Valentine spirit, Liberty North cheerleaders are sponsoring a free raffle drawing for the school. Students can register to win a rose or candy gram that will be delivered to the person of their choice.
To register, all you have to do is write the name of the person you want to send the gift to on a small white envelope provided by the girls, and the beginning of your email address. You can choose which present you want to have your name drawn for; there are 50 red roses and 50 candy grams up for grabs. The cheerleaders will be selling them during Eagle Hour Tuesday the 11th, and Wednesday the 12th.
All winners will be notified via email and their prizes delivered to their valentine during first period on Thursday, February 13. Students can send these presents to friends, boyfriends/girlfriends, or secret admirers.
Eagle Cheer is using this year’s free raffle as a precursor to next year. The girls are planning on selling roses to everyone for a small fee to be delivered on Valentines Day of 2015.
