1. VOLUNTEER- The holidays are a perfect time to volunteer. Head over to a food kitchen or Harvester’s with your friends and family and give back over the break!

2. DECORATE COOKIES- Gather a group of friends and have a cookie decorating party!   Have someone supply the cookies and everyone else bring a topping they would like and go to town.

3. CHRISTMAS MOVIE MARATHON- Grab a stack of your fave christmas movies and some blankets and bundle up for the day with a some hot cocoa and a lot of laughs.

4. MUSIC VIDEO- Create a music video of your favorite Christmas song using as many different props and people as you can find!

5. GINGERBREAD HOUSE- Everyone loves a yummy gingerbread house; use different candies and frosting colors to make the house as decorative as possible!

6. TREE SHOPPING- Go out to a tree farm with your family and pick out the perfect tree and then spend the rest of the day decorating it!

7. HOT COCOA BAR- If you’re bored over break, have a get together and have everyone bring a different flavor/type of hot chocolate or a different kind of topping (marshmallows, candy canes, chocolate syrup) and have a cocoa bar

8. UGLY SWEATER PARTY- Host an ugly sweater party; go to a thrift store and find as many of the ugliest sweaters as possible and have a contest to see who has the worst.

9. ICE SKATING- Head down to Crown Center to enjoy the pretty atmosphere and fun activities such as ice skating that are available!

10. DIY GIFTS- When you have nothing to do, come up with some DIY gifts that you can give to friends and family! Use YouTube as an inspiration or just come up with something on your own.
