New York City is the biggest city in the US and one of the biggest in the world! This makes New York a hot spot for traveling. Just this year, they welcomed over 60 million tourists!
Traveling to New York wasn’t all that bad. The flight was around 3-4 hours The views flying into LaGuardia airport were awesome! When we were out of the airport, we had to call a taxi to take us to our hotel. The traffic there wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.
After we dropped off all our stuff, we went to the Empire State Building and went up to the 86th floor. Seeing NYC all lit up in the night was cool to see in real life. The breeze while we were up there felt nice (and cold) as well.
Something that we did while we were there was to visit two museums. One was one on Space, History, etc. The other one was the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Both were really cool to be in, seeing all the remnants of history.
Let’s talk about the food. Food is abundant in NYC. Everywhere you turn, there will either be a restaurant or a food stand. The best place we ate at was a place called Tuome. That was some of the best food I’ve ever had the chance to eat. Everything was made to perfection.
On our last day in NYC, we went to see Hamilton on Broadway. The walk to the theater was very enjoyable. It was very close to our hotel, so we got there in no time. I never realized how good Hamilton was until I watched it live myself.
The next day, we packed our stuff and made our way back to Missouri. Being in NYC was a blast, and there was plenty more that I did while I was there! All in all, NYC has plenty to do and is one of the best cities to visit.
