The Plaza is a popular place to go during Christmas time, because of its decorated buildings and shops. Opening in 1922, the Plaza is bringing entertainment and enjoyment to the public.

  “I love the lights and how colorful they are. I definitely would recommend going there this Christmas,” freshman Sophia Kromeich said.
   The lights turn on Thanksgiving night, so many people can spend time with their friends or family anytime from Thanksgiving to mid january. With the bright lights and shops on the Plaza it could make spending time there convenient and a fun place to visit. With the variety of shops, fountains, and Christmas decorations, this could be a popular place to attract people.
   “The Plaza has shops to entertain you and overall is just such a fun place to be, and when the lights turn on it’s really pretty,” sophomore Brooklyn Parish said.
   Going to decorated places during the holidays is very common among people, so having an experience that is memorable and remembered could be important. Places like the Plaza especially during the holidays with family or friends can make lifelong memories.
   “I made so many memories with my family when I went and it brought us closer together for the holidays,” freshman Elaina Tiffany said.
   With the amount of people going each year the publicity can grow and influence more people to go. When the Christmas lights come on and the shops are open to the public this could make for a delightful environment for all the visitors.
   “I think it’s such a fun experience especially during Christmas and the environment is really cool,” junior Aubree Smith said.
