Hi, I’m Bryson Prindle. I’m a junior here at LNHS and this is Prindle’s Perspective. Here I will talk mostly about things going on with movies, games, and other stuff that I enjoy. You can expect a lot of talk over Fortnite updates, and new Fallout content (Most likely 76), as well as Marvel, DC, and Star Wars movies or tv series.

Well folks, I guess what they say is true, all good things must come to an end. Fortnite OG, being the major success it was and giving Fortnite its highest player count ever within the first week, is no exception. However, now that it’s over with, we have to move on to our new season in the brand new Chapter 5. Let’s see what’s going on this time.

This Season is called Underground, which fits thanks to our new faction, The Underground. This new faction is a sort of secret organization founded by Agent Jones. Unfortunately Peely, Jones’ best friend, has been kidnapped by a rival organization known as The Society. It is our job to save him. We got a whole new map complete with new POIs (Points Of Interest) including Reckless Railways, Hazy Hillside, Grand Glacier, Rebel’s Roost, Ruined Reels, Snooty Steppes, Lavish Lair, Fencing Fields and Ritzy Riviera.

Next up our loot pool. This season is filled with new weapons including the Ballistic Shield, Hammer Pump Shotgun, Nemesis AR, Frenzy Auto Shotgun, Thunder Burst SMG, Striker AR, Hyper SMG, Reaper Sniper Rifle, Ranger Pistol, Grapple Blade, and Cluster Clinger. All the weapons, except for the Grapple Blade and Ballistic Shield, are used in Fortnite’s newest mechanic: Weapon Mods. With this new mechanic you can give your weapons modifications in exchange for gold at any Mod Bench around the map. Augments are vaulted and we can now move while using heals.

In the Battle Pass this season we got our classic length. Our skins include Vengeance Jones and Hope as our protagonists and our antagonists are Oscar the tiger, Nisha, Montague, and Valeria. With our collab skins being Peter Griffin from Family Guy and Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid. We’ll also be getting a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collab around December 22. As for new mechanics we got a new movement system, new locker UI, a Guitar Hero like mode, a racing mode, and a Lego mode.

This season is amazing so far, I’m loving the new game modes and mechanics. This chapter has a lot of potential I think, especially with all these new game modes. Epic Games has said that they want to do another Season OG, so maybe we’ll get another one of those at the end of the chapter. Well anyways, that’s all this time.
