A (Very Late) Baby Driver Movie Review
Baby Driver is undoubtedly one of the best movies of 2017 and one of the best movies I have ever seen. If you’re a fan of action movies, this movie is a MUST see. The opening scene is fast-paced and sets the tone for the entire film. In the first scene alone you will fall in love with Baby, a character who is destined for doom in the best way possible. Baby meets a waitress named Deborah, and to say the least, he falls in love with her pretty quickly.
When Baby’s dangerous lifestyle begins to get in the way of the potential future he sees with Deborah, this is when things start to get extremely intense. Characters who once proved to be protagonists turn into antagonists, rash decisions are made and a few people even die.
Determined to get the happy ending his parents never did, Baby stops at absolutely nothing to ensure that nothing or anyone gets in the way of it. While Deborah and Baby’s idea of ‘happily ever after’ isn’t so ideal, things turn out pretty darn good for them, if you overlook the trials and tribulations they were faced with throughout the journey.
If you plan on watching Baby Driver, I must warn you. This is one of those movies that gives you absolutely no time to react before the sequence is transforming into something else. It’s quite an emotional rollercoaster and though it’s not a sad movie, you might possibly shed a few tears. It’s a fantastic movie that I will definitely be watching more than once and I hope that anyone else who watches it feels the same way.
