Gianni Southall is a sophomore at Liberty North and a student in North’s special education program. He is not only a very involved student at the school but he is also a student who loves to spread kindness and joy around the school.
“I love everything about this high school, I love everyone, and the best part of my day is to see my friends and see how happy they are. I love to make people happy,” Southall said
Southall is involved with many things throughout the school including the Spirit Squad and Choir.
“I love choir because it’s fun and you can sing all different kinds of songs. I also love Spirit Squad because it is so fun to cheer with all of the cheerleaders and I love when we get to cheer on the games and help them win,” Southall said.
Southall has plans to go into veterinary medicine for his future career.
“I want to be a veterinarian because I want to take care of animals and help them feel better,” Southall said.
Southall’s kind, funny, and helpful personality shines both inside and outside the classroom.
“Gianni is always telling funny jokes, and being social with the other students in class. He is very loving, mature, and good at following directions,” special education teacher Maggie Toohig said.
Southall loves making friends with new people and showing his love and appreciation for his friends.
“I make them feel better because I can ask what’s wrong or if there is anything I can help them with. I love smiling at everyone just to be nice and friendly,” Southall said.
